Inclement Weather Arrangement

  1. To avoid unnecessary misunderstanding, cancellation must be agreed by coach AND students.
  2. If the lesson is cancelled due to inclement weather (rain, or Typhoon Signal No.8 or above issued), NO CHARGE apply.
  3. Confirmation of cancellation due to inclement weather will be made within one hour prior to the lesson.

 

Fee charges in the case of rain during the lesson 

(According the actual terminated time of the lesson AND the time displayed on the HONG KONG Observatory’s website)

  1. Lesson terminated within first 20 mins  –  Free of charge, lesson will be rescheduled.
  2. Lesson terminated after 20 mins – Charge 50% of full hourly fee.
  3. Lesson terminated after 40 mins – Charge 75% of full hourly fee.
  4. Lesson terminated after 50 mins – Full charge of hourly fee (Lesson considered completed).

惡劣天氣安排

  1. 為免引起不必要誤會，如課堂因惡劣天氣需要取消，事前應該得到教練及學員雙方同意。
  2. 如課堂因惡劣天氣取消 (天雨、八號或以上颱風訊號發出時)，將不會收費。
  3. 如因惡劣天氣需要取消當日課堂，教練將於原定課堂開始時間前一小時通知學員作實有關決定。

 

課堂進行期間下雨的收費安排

(根據課堂實際終止及香港天文台網頁內當時所顯示的時間為準)

  1. 課堂時間開始首20分鐘內因下雨而終止課堂  ─  不用任何收費，課堂將會改期。
  2. 課堂時間開始20分鐘後因下雨而終止課堂  ─  收取該小時課堂費用的 50%。
  3. 課堂時間開始40分鐘後因下雨而終止課堂  ─  收取該小時課堂費用的 75%。
  4. 課堂時間開始50分鐘後因下雨而終止課堂  ─  收取該小時課堂全數費用 (視作已完成課堂)。

Lesson Cancellation Policy

(Non inclement weather reasons)

Reason for cancellation policy :

Due to the fact that once the lesson is confirmed and booked for you, the coach fully commits this time and will not accept other students.  If you cancel near the lesson, it will be difficult for the coach to find another student.  Consequently, the coach suffers a loss of income and booking costs.

In addition, if the lesson is arranged to be held at a Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) tennis court, due to the current LCSD regulations, the booking CANNOT be cancelled within the same day. Therefore, if the student cancels the lesson on the day, the coach is still required to travel to the court to sign in and stay at the venue until the end of the booked time.  Otherwise, it will be deemed as “No-show” from the venue by the LCSD will be blacklisted and banned from booking for 3 months.  Therefore, students should not misunderstand and think that as long as the venue fee is compensated to the coach, the coach will not have to lose money. In fact, the coach still needs to go to the venue to sign in and stay at the venue until the end of the venue time.

Which is why this class cancellation policy and extra charge existed. Thank you for your understanding.

  1. If the student cancels the lesson at least 8 days advance, there will be no charges because the court booking has not be confirmed and paid.
  2. If a student cancels the lesson more than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, the student will be required to pay the coach HK$100 per hour based on the affected class hours.
  3. If a student cancels the lesson within 24 hours before the scheduled class OR is absent from the class for no reason (No-show) without notifying the coach in advance, the student needs to pay the FULL FEE for the affected class hours.
  4. In case of emergency or unexpected matters to cause the situation of above Point 3 happened, the student can discuss it with the coach, flexible handling may be on a case by case basis.

取消課堂政策

(非惡劣天氣原因)

原因：由於教練與學員確定課堂並訂場作實後，表示教練已承諾把該時段預留給學員及不能再接受其他預約。如學員臨時取消已預約的課堂，教練除了不能輕易再找到其他學員代替外，還要承受收入及租場上的損失。

此外，如果課堂是安排在康文署場地進行的話，由於現時康文署規定不能即日內取消場地，所以如果學員臨時取消課堂，教練還需要繼續親自前往場地簽到及在場內逗留直至用場時間完結，否則會被康文署視作缺席不使用場地並將會被列入黑名單禁止訂場3個月 。所以請學員不要誤解以為只要補償場地費用給教練，教練就不用損失，其實教練仍需要前往場地簽到及在場內逗留直至用場時間完結的。

因此才有此取消課堂政策，希望學員明白及體諒。

  1. 學員如提早最少8天或之前已通知教練需要請假/取消課堂，不會有任何收費，因為仍未開始訂場
  2. 學員如在教練訂場後並於原定課堂開始時間最少24小時之前通知教練要求取消課堂/請假，學員需按受影響之課堂時數繳付教練每小時港幣$100
  3. 如學員於原定課堂開始時間前24小時內才通知教練要求取消課堂/請假  或 在沒有預先通知教練情況下無故缺席課堂，學員仍需按受影響之課堂時數繳付全數費用。
  4. 學員如因緊急或突發情況下才導致上述第3點情況發生時，學員可與教練商量，教練可能會因應個別情況下考慮酌情處理。
